1896 May The first President and company founder, Yoshihira Wada began business in Haramachi, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, and commenced manufacturing of pressure gauges and related products (at the first gauge factory in Japan). Yoshihira Wada
1917 May The company was reorganized as Tokyo Keiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd.
1948 December Tokyo Keiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd. was liquidated and divided into Nagano Keiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd. and Tokyo Keiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (currently TOKYO KEIKI INC.). Head office and factories were located in Komoro-machi (currently Komoro-shi), Nagano-ken, with 5 million yen in capital.
1951 Octorber Head office and factories were relocated to Ueda, Ueda-shi. The factories
1954 May Granted status as Japanese Industrial Standard Pressure Gauge Factory.
August Designation as Measurement Control Model Factory.
1957 May Designation as a First Class Instrument Using Workplace.
1958 January The Tokyo Factory was established in Chuo, Ohta-ku, Tokyo.
1964 March The first phase of the construction of the Akiwa Factory was completed at Akiwa, Ueda-shi, Nagano-ken. Tokico Instrument Co., Ltd. (currently Hitachi Automotive Systems & Nagano, LTD.) was established through a joint venture with Tokico Co., Ltd. (currently Hitachi Astemo, Ltd.) and the sales of both companies’ products commenced. The first phase of the construction of the Akiwa Factory was completed at Akiwa
May Nagano Keiki Service Co., Ltd. (currently NAGANO KEISO CO., LTD. was established by spinning off the maintenance division.
December The second phase of the construction of the Akiwa factory was completed. The Ueda factory (currently Ueda Measuring Instruments factory) was relocated.
1965 August Authorized as Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge and Mercury Filled Thermometer Factory. (JIS standard was authorized by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.)
1966 December The third phase of construction of Ueda Measuring Instruments factory was completed. The head office was relocated to Akiwa, Ueda-shi. Nagano Hanyo Keiki Mfg. Co., Ltd. was established.
1976 June The Head Office was transferred to Higashimagome, Ohta-ku, Tokyo. The Head Office was transferred to Higashimagome, Ohta-ku, Tokyo.
1978 July Nagano Co., Ltd. was established by separation from the Tokyo factory.
1988 September Acquired capital in Mahshin Co., Ltd (currently Yoshitomi-Mahshin Co., Ltd.).
November An engineering and sales agreement for pressure sensors was made with the Instruments Division of Dresser, Inc., U.S.A. (currently Ashcroft-Nagano Keiki Holdings, Inc.).
1989 February Acquisition of capital in Nagano-ken Housou Shiza Co., Ltd. (currently Epoch Nagano Co., Ltd.). The production and sales of ceramic products commenced.
July Acquisition of capital in Yoshitomi Co., Ltd (currently Yoshitomi-Mahshin Co., Ltd.).
November The first phase of construction of the Maruko Electronic Instruments Factory was completed at Maruko-machi, Nagano-ken. Full scale production of pressure sensors commenced.
1991 January Dresser-Nagano, Inc. (currently Ashcroft-Nagano, Inc.) was established in California, U.S.A., through a joint-venture with Dresser, Inc., U.S.A.
1995 February Received the “Sasakawa Special Award for Inventions” from the Japan Society for the Advancement of Inventions Foundation, currently Society for the Advancement of Inventions (Public Interest Incorporated Foundation). Ueda Measuring Instruments factory and Maruko Electronic Instruments Factory obtained ISO 9001 certification.
1996 Octorber A technological transfer and license agreement was made and entered into for high-pressure-related sensing technology with Delco Electronics (currently Delphi Automotive Systems), U.S.A.
1997 January The second phase of the construction of the Maruko Electronics Instruments Factory was completed. The Maruko Electronics Instruments Factory
July The company name was changed to NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD.
1998 September A technological transfer and license agreement was made and entered into with Robert Bosch GmbH, Germany, regarding high-pressure sensing technology.
Octorber The new construction of the headquarters building was completed.
December Company Stocks were sold as over-the-counter stocks. Accreditation regarding the official proofreader for calibration of dead weight type pressure gauge was granted by JACSS (The Japan Calibration Service System).
1999 December Sensor sub-assembly sales agreement was made and entered with Texas Instruments, U.S.A.
2000 December The Ueda Measuring Instruments Factory and the Maruko Electronic Instruments Factory obtained ISO14001 certification. ADZ NAGANO GmbH was established through a joint-venture with ADZ, Germany.
2003 January Received the “Nikkei Best Product Service Award in 2002” for KA series “small size pressure sensor for automotive applications”.
4月 FUKUDA CO., LTD. became a wholly owned subsidiary of NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD.
September Establishment of a resident office in Europe in Dresden, Sachsen, Germany.
2004 March ZA Co, Ltd. (currently NAGANO KEISO CO., LTD.) became a wholly owned subsidiary of NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD.
2005 February NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD. was listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD. was listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
May The Nagano Keiki Solutions Support Center (NSSC) was established in Ottendorf-Okrilla, Sachsen, Germany.
August The Maruko Electronic Instruments Factory obtained ISO/TS 16949: 2002 certification from the Japan Gas Appliances Inspection Association.
September Sun Cast Co., Ltd. became a wholly owned subsidiary of NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD. Nagano Keiki Technical Solutions Center was opened in Ikuta, Ueda-shi.
2006 May Ashcroft Holdings,Inc.(currently Ashcroft-Nagano Keiki Holdings,Inc.)became a wholly owned subsidiary of Nagano Keiki Co., Ltd.
2007 4月 NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD. was listed on the 1st section of the Tokyo of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
2008 February S3C, Inc. (Sunnyvale, California) became a subsidiary of NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD.
April New-Era Co., Ltd. became a wholly owned subsidiary of NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD.
2009 April Yoshitomi Co., Ltd. merged with Mahshin Co., Ltd. and changed the company name to Yoshitomi Mahshin Co., Ltd.
July NAGANO KEISO CO., LTD. merged with ZA Co., Ltd.
2013 November An business alliance agreement was signed with Elmos Semiconductor AG, Germany and Silicon Microstructures Inc,, USA for the joint development and provision of ASIC and MEMS type pressure sensor elements.
2014 July Establishment of manufacturing joint venture, JADE Sensortechnik GmbH with Intelligente Sensorsysteme Dresden GmbH (i2s).
2017 July FUTABA SOKKI CO., LTD. became a wholly owned subsidiary of NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD.
2019 January NAKAMURA-KANAGATA CO., LTD became a wholly owned subsidiary of NAGANO KEIKI CO., LTD.
